SAFEGUARDING
THE STEEP
Celebrating a rich history of avalanche forecasting and mitigation in the Tetons.
YOU’RE INVITED
The American Avalanche Association (A3) welcomes you to a behind-the-scenes look at avalanche mitigation in the mountains and a celebration of the individuals who keep us safe and informed in avalanche country.
Join us on February 28th for a guided ski tour of avalanche infrastructure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR), followed by a cocktail hour and presentations on the history and evolution of avalanche forecasting and mitigation in the Tetons with the JHMR Snow Safety Team. This private experience will bring together skiers, avalanche professionals, and supporters who share a commitment to safety, education, and stewardship of steep terrain and mountain communities.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Avalanche Association’s programs in support of avalanche workers in the Tetons and across the Western US.
We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon/evening of stories and celebration!
